Reiki (ray-kee) is a form of spiritual healing and practice believed by its advocates to be beneficial for treating physical, emotional, mental and spiritual diseases. It translates to “universal life energy”.
A Reiki practitioner will be a conduit for this energy through the light touch of hands on the other’s body, affecting natural healing to parts of the body where it is needed. The act is simple but powerful, relieving ailments small or chronic.
This series of workshops is for those who wish to become a healer themselves. One need only the first level to be attuned and become a practitioner, but enthusiasts can move to the other two levels to learn deeper healing and to attune others themselves.

Seichim (say-keem) is an Egyptian word meaning “living light energy”. It also means the power of powers. It is believed to be an ancient and sacred form of hands-on healing that is powerful yet tender at the same time. It heals on a cellular level and purges blockages and toxins for better prosperity and spirituality.
Aspiring practitioners can choose from two lineages.
Isis Seichim was developed by Ruth Mays in 1990. While traditional Reiki is tranquil, Isis Seichim is nurturing, reflecting the qualities of the goddess it is named for. It works best for deep-rooted emotional or mental blockages and activates the chakra for a slow, gentle and loving healing.
Green Tara Seichim draws upon unique symbols, chants, mantras and prayers from the goddess and infuses the system with incredible power. Stephen Comee, a ‘ngakpa’ in the Nyingma Tradition, developed this specialised form to augment spiritual practice or healing abilities. Green Tara is known to be a strong protector while creating happiness, and her compassion helps to develop our own discrimination and perception.

Built upon the Seichim energy system introduced by Patrick Ziegler, Helen Belot from Australia developed her own school that resonates more with the Egyptian lion-headed goddess Sekhmet.
Sekhem (say-kem) destroys the unnecessary to make way for new foundations, and helps release hidden potential while granting cutting focus. It brings about dynamic changes as it affects the etheric and cellular planes alike, and empowers the person as it heals. Sekhem works though a complicated network of meridians and the nervous system that extends to past lives, and so requires a longer program for attunement.
