As one of the world’s most popular, if not prolific, oracular method, the Tarot has garnered many fans all over. Yet it remains as mysterious as ever, seemingly to reveal its wisdom only to a select few.

The truth is that the 78 cards can be read by anyone keen to try, and the key is steady guidance and practice. The Tarot can even be used as a spiritual tool and augment other divinatory methods as well.

Our Basic Workshop will cover all 78 cards and their literal and symbolic meanings, as well as explore the numerology and astrological aspects to give rich readings.

The Advanced Workshop brings in Alchemy and the Kabbalah for an even more spiritual tone, and Ambika will reveal how to meditate and do Pathwork with the cards.

Chakra Meditation lets us live a fulfilled life, by expanding our ability to appreciate and enjoy our environment. Enhance your physical senses through their linked chakras and gain greater creativity, focus, and concentration.

Kundalini Meditation is the last level to tackle in our series. Traditionally only attempted by practitioners of advanced spiritual disciplines, Ambika will ensure your sessions will be closely monitored as you learn to raise the Kundalini. You will grow into your own as you adjust this life force at a rate and degree that is safe yet effectual.

Meditation is a mental practice that has been documented with multiple benefits for one’s well-being. For those keen to develop a regular routine, Ambika will introduce them to basic techniques to build a foundation for advanced meditation practices.

Breath meditation goes back to the fundamental action and trains us in modulating the act. With control comes our ability to better chaperone our emotions and reactions, and thus effect positive change.

Visual meditation provides the mind with mental stimuli in the form of an object of focus. It works to train the mind to creatively visualise and manifest our external reality.

Sound meditation is similar to the principle of affirmations. Repetition alters our neural pathways and programs our beliefs, and Ambika will reveal words of power or mantras in the form of prayers, hymns and invocations to alter energetic fields.

Once used as alphabet script, these symbols of mystery have become a tool for magick and divination. Be startled and rewarded by how easily you can use these symbols, which originated in Northern Europe, in your daily lives and spiritual development. This workshop will show you each symbol’s meaning and how to apply them to readings and energetic workings.

Using moves from the 5 Rites of Rejuvenation, Tibetan Lamas have found a way to age while keeping the constitution of those half their years. Learn and feel how these rhythmic and unique movements combine posture and breathing to obtain better sleep and energy levels, as well as improved circulation and emotional control.

You will find a set of meditation, notes and literature to accompany your practice, and with 15-20 minutes a day, you can move your way to a healthier you.

Note: Please wear light and loose clothing and avoid caffeine, alcohol and heavy meals 2 hours before the class.

Most of us are familiar with the chakra system but may not know how to use these energy centres effectively. Gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of how this system became the foundation of many Eastern and Western spiritual belief and esoteric thought. Learn about Mantras and Yantra, how to balance the points, and many other specific ways to harness the energies and their influence.

The Kabbalah is not a set of formal teachings, but more an interpretation of deeper meanings in extant texts. Applied, these layered meanings can have a profound effect that affects even the most mundane of tasks. Understand the history to discover fundamental concepts, then apply them where you will after you have understood some of the essence of this path.

The first chapter will begin with the Tree of Life and the Sephiroths as building blocks of the system, and explore schools of thought, branching developments and the Ladder of Light for developing one’s inner awareness.

The second chapter explore the Hebrew alphabet and its application in the system, different levels of consciousness and archetypes in the Ladder, and Kabbalah’s application in other esoteric systems like the Tarot, Astrology, Tantra etc.

The study of astrology can be a life-long pursuit but great results can still be easily achieved even for a beginner. What we know from the newspaper dailies is but the tip of the iceberg, and is at best a loose summary of what could be. Actual astrology requires the plotting of charts to ascertain the future and your genetic blueprint, and then analysing the best course of action forward to your maximum potential.

Acquire the knowledge to garner tools for your self-discovery. Then synchronise yourself and others to the cosmos with guidance from the celestial bodies.

For the beginner class, begin with the overview and plotting of charts, then learn about quadrants, hemispheres and sectors, and how to spot voids in houses, divisions and patterns.

For the advanced class, delve into the concept of dispositorship, Lunar Nodes, asteroids and Arabic Parts. Then see the significance of Transits, Progressions, Returns, as well as Eclipses, Retrogrades and how to plot synastry and composite charts.

Pathwork is the metaphysical journey to self-fulfilment. The Kabbalah can be a rigorous and powerful system for pathwork, regardless of your belief or tradition. Kabbalistic teachings help grow the innate spiritual essence without discharging your earthly duties and each segment provides specific teachings.

Pick your way through the tree and realise your journey.

Malkuth is The Gateway. It is not just the base but our core, and we learn how to activate and apply it to many fields, such as psychology, the Tarot, and even including the angels.

Yesod is Creation. While often seen as action, Yesod lends itself as manifestation through prayer, meditation and visualisation. Find the meaning both literal and mystical in its hebrew letters and why it is seen as the “Kingdom of Dreams”.

Hod/Netzach is Intellect and Intuition. This perfect pair lets one begin their process to express themselves most truthfully, disregarding judgement. Find out how to synthesise these two to a perfect balance and their relation to the Pillars of Justice and Mercy.

Chesed/Geburah and Tiphareth is Beauty and Balance. Known as the “Ethical Triangle”, the two countenances is separated into the Divine and humanity. Combined, they exude the harmony of perfect balance and call forth our divinity as Reparation. Pierce the Veil and find true Da’ath (Knowledge).

Binah/Chokmah moves us into pure consciousness and is the duality symbolic of all life. These archetypal energies are complementary as much as they are contradictory, but understanding their nature along with the Veil and the Abyss will grant us keen insight.

To explore the heart of the Goddess’s nurture is to gain wisdom that transcends cultures and traditions. Join Ambika in exploring a different archetype for each Goddess and embrace the Goddess within!

Warrior Queen: This aspect of the Divine Feminine is probably the easiest to misunderstand. It represents strength that’s not linked to force and assertiveness that is not aggressiveness. Wield the power without sacrificing femininity.

Mother: The most common and widely-known aspect, the Mother is nurturing but also a Force of Nature! The hand that rocks the cradle is that which rules the world, and identify how Mother Goddesses can differ yet offer the same lesson.

Destroyer: The facet that most people prefer not to examine, the Destroyer aspect happens to be the highest form of the Divine in Tantric religion. It is by reclaiming the primordial that we can better understand life through destruction, and the values they present.

Shadow work is not just about overcoming or eliminating fears, but understanding them in their full glorious self to integrate them and make the imperfect whole. Ambika will identify your unique “Shadow” by exploring different layers of consciousness and generic archetypes in Jungian psychology, so as to find out the dysfunction and make them function!
